Authentic Goan Recipes
During your stay, various meals will be cooked by you based on local seasonal produce and that available during religious festivals. These dishes are available locally in some restaurants and in most homes.
Typical menus for your delight:-
- Day 2 - Fish Curry, Vegetable Makhani, Goan Fat Rice, Chapatti.
- Day 3 - Chicken Cafreal, Dal Fry, Steamed Rice, Naan.
- Day 4 - Pork Assad, Muttor Mushrooms, Lemon Rice, Roti.
- Day 5 - Green Beef, Paneer Makhani, Jeera Rice, Papads.
- Day 6 - Mutton Xacuti, Pumpkin Caldin, Vegetable Fried Rice, Puri.
We aim to please and will try where possible to accommodate food preferences with all the students agreement.
A recipe book will be provided at the end of the course which has many more and varied dishes. Our aim is for you to understand the use of spices and flavourings so upon your return you can expand your new talents and impress your friends.
