We provide what we consider as ‘real life experience’ holidays for those with a yearning for something a little different, and who wish to taste, smell, view and sense Goa and southern India, rather than simply sit on a beach!
Our ‘Goan Cookery School Experience’ will show you how to prepare typical Goan cuisine. You will be based at a local South Goan Guest House. To enable you to experience Goa and to give you a real feel for the destination we are offering this opportunity to only six people per holiday week.
The cookery school menu is from traditional family recipes not generally available in the UK (and quite rare in Goan restaurants for that matter) and is a blend of South Indian and Portuguese flavours. These have been married together and perfected over the past 350 years. Goan food and service are well recognised with shipping companies such as P&O who actively recruit Goanese cooks and stewards for their ships. Our chefs are locally renowned for their cooking. This holiday will enable you to share their passion and take a little of Goa home with you.
In addition to learning how to prepare the food, you can visit local fruit, vegetables, meat and fish wholesale markets to purchase your cooking ingredients.
Capture the real Goa with our Photographic Holiday Experience.
Our Photographic Experience is a holiday taking in many of the wonderful sites available to both budding and proficient photographers. This holiday too can be based around the Guest House or in an International style hotel to suit your requirements. Suitable for up to 10 people.
